This is a printable scarecrow to keep your newly planted seeds from being devoured by birds.
No more flying dino's digging up precious seeds, scare them off with this Dangerface Scarepeller!
The scarepeller is effective against most of your typical urban birds, any brave feathered friend still daring to approach it will deserve the seeds he's able to find.

This print requires in addition to a view colors of filament a bit of glue, a 608 (22x8x7) bearing and a M8x20 or M8x25 hex bolt.
I used regular black, ultra silk silver, ultra silk Copper and ultra silk bronze PLA filament for this print… I do recommend using black, yellow and red filament for the face, for scare away reasons. The propeller will work the best if you use something shiny and reflective, or anything close to that description.

I printed all parts on my Prusa Mini using pretty standard settings, i did decrease the fan speed to max 40% with the soilplug and propeller to get a better layer adhesion. This makes the parts a bit more robust and durable.

The soilplug has printed M8 threads, if they're to tight a regular M8 tap would clear that up easily.

The danger face i printed in black PLA.
the innerface parts I printed all 1 one print with color change in the middel to switch from red to yellow.
I glued the innerface parts into the black contours.

I used the bolt and the soilplug to pressfit the bearing into place, i recommend doing this without the washer. Once the bearing is in place, unscrew the bolt from the soilplug and place the washer between the bearing and the soilplug. Screw in the bolt and fasten it.

The face assembly can than be clicked into the propeller witch will hold it in place. If you don't trust my design you may use a touch of glue to hold it in place.

Stick the soilplug into the soil around the seeds you'd like to protect, make sure that the soil is nice and dense and that the propeller isn't to far from the soil. The wind might nock it over if it's not planted sturdy enough, once planted right mine kept stable for weeks.

Good luck and looking forward to seeing other people's results and experiences!
