Inspired by an editorial cartoon, Takara designed a scale form with vintage weighing scale elements like base and arms. To emphasize disparities further, she added urban-like features on the poverty side and Greek pillars on the affluent side. The sculpture serves as a visual aid to comprehend the pressing issue of wealth inequality in America.
