Prehistoric stone carving discovered on private farmland within the Ringses area of Doddington Moor, east of Doddington, Northumberland. This is one of multiple carvings located to the east of the multivallate Iron Age hillfort at The Ringses. It is referenced as 'The Ringses 6f' in the Beckensall Archive (BA), described as: "One basin featuring a countersunk design with four cups, and another basin." Historic England has scheduled this site: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1418072 Additional information is available from ERA & BA at: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=39 The 3D model was created from a single stereo pair captured by Kevin Malloy (NADRAP Team 1) in March 2007.
