Prehistoric carved bedrock on private farmland in Doddington Moor's Ringses area, East of Doddington, Northumberland, reveals a wealth of ancient artifacts. This exposed outcrop is just one of many carvings located east of the The Ringses multivallate Iron Age hillfort, a testament to the region's rich history. The Beckensall Archive references this site as 'The Ringses 6d', while describing it as two distinct cups and one basin. NADRAP added this record to ERA in 2008, shedding new light on the area's archaeological significance. Historic England has designated this site for preservation, citing its historical importance. For more information, visit Historic England's website: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1418072. The ERA and BA databases also provide valuable insights into this site, available at: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=36. This 3D model was created from a single stereo pair captured by Joe Gibson of the NADRAP Team in March 2007. The imagery is part of the ERA / NADRAP archive, donated to Historic England and Northumberland County Council for preservation and public access.
