sketchfab
Carving referenced 'The Ringses 4b' on both the Beckensall Archive and ERA is documented. Stone likely lies in an area of exposed outcrop and is one of several carved to the east of the The Ringses multivallate Iron Age hillfort, near Doddington in Northumberland. Motifs on this stone are highly eroded and consist of cups, rings, and partial rings. Historic England has scheduled the site at https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1418072. ERA and Beckensall Archive records can be found at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=33. A single stereo pair captured by Kevin Malloy in March 2007, during NADRAP recording, was used to create this model. Imagery forms part of the ERA / NADRAP archive.
