Carving referenced ‘The Ringses 4b’ on both the Beckensall Archive and ERA. Stone is likely to be an area of exposed outcrop and is one of a number carved to the east of the The Ringses multivallate Iron Age hillfort, near Doddington in Northumberland. Motifs on this stone are highly eroded and consist of cups, rings and partial rings.
