The Rings of the Champions

The Rings of the Champions

myminifactory

This is a submission for the 3D Printing Industry x Protolabs competition, showcasing cutting-edge technology via support-free powder-bed printing and semi-translucent properties of MJF and SLA materials. Art enthusiasts will appreciate this three-dimensional rendition of Van Gogh's iconic style, where symbolism reigns supreme. Three rotated stars represent excellence in 3D printing, while the central component resembles a support pattern often generated by FDM slicers, another branch of additive manufacturing. The base features a distinctive "D" shape, serving its purpose to the fullest, and proudly displays the initials "3DPI," representing the 3D Printing Industry. Some minor adjustments may be necessary to ensure seamless integration of the rings within the support structure, as this design was partially conceived for single-piece printing capabilities. Fusion 360 Archive files are available for anyone's use or remix upon request.
