Area of outcrop discovered near The Rigg, southwest of Lartington, County Durham. Referenced as #3 in the Deepdale section of Beckensall & Laurie's 1998 publication "Prehistoric Rock Art of County Durham, Swaledale and Wensleydale," this carving was added to ERA by NADRAP under the designation 'Lartington, The Rigg 3' in 2008. The NADRAP team documented: "This panel has been fragmented into at least three sections, comprising two larger components and a smaller triangular piece. It comprises up to eleven deep depressions linked by deep grooves, with five depressions standing alone."
