The Reusable Can Carrier

This innovative design was created for the Esso 250ml can innovation challenge with a focus on simplifying transportation and reducing waste by utilizing a reusable carrying mechanism. To achieve this, the project incorporated several key features that enhance overall utility. Firstly, multiple sizes are available, including 1,2,3,4, and 6 cans, some of which have variations as well. The carrier for 1,2, and 3 cans comes in two versions: basic carrying and a version with a loop for attaching to backpacks or carabiners when space is limited. This design allows for easy stacking once the cans are attached, ensuring rigidity and strength, ideal for storing multiple carriers in a fridge or displaying them on store shelves. The easy-on, easy-off mechanism makes it simple to attach and detach cans with minimal force. Moreover, the carrier's reusability extends from store to home to camping trips, significantly reducing waste generated by common carriers like 6-pack rings or boxes over time. #fuelingInnovation Pros: Reusable Stackable Clip (carabiners) Easy carry Different versions (1,2,3,4,6) Snap on Little material use How It Was Designed This innovative design was crafted over several weeks through extensive trial and error. The CAD software used allowed for real-time modifications and updates, making future changes quick and effortless. To achieve a sleek appearance, the design incorporated numerous curves and flexible elements, requiring adjustments to circle diameters, thicknesses, and aesthetics. This process led to a final product that was both satisfying to create and functional. Stl name format: canCarrier_(# of cans in carrier)_(loop type)_(resolution)
