The Remy Award
thingiverse
Who needs an Emmy when you can win a Remy? This is a 3D scan of myself made using the Sense 2 technology. It's my first scan created with this technology. The model was left unedited in the Sense software and exported directly to OBJ without any additional finishing touches. I printed it on an Ultimaker 2+ in PLA material. Feel free to remix me, Thingiverse! You can modify me by adding beefy arms or even a dictator's head. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 150 microns Infill: 10% Notes: I used a brim but think it's not necessary in most cases. Minimal supports are required for the best results, so use an 'everywhere' style. How I Designed This I got a 3D scan of myself using the Sense 2 technology. The model was created as a solid in the Sense software without any edits. That's why the floor is still included with this model. You can easily remove it by sinking the model into the build plate or cutting it off in a 3D modeling program. I exported the model to an OBJ file and printed it directly without any additional finishing. The final print looked great, especially for my first try.
