The remains of the seagrass
sketchfab
We've recovered the remnants of a seagrass patch from San Blás, a site that's been extensively explored through various expeditions. This is the only evidence we could gather of a potential seagrass bed, and it's in surprisingly good condition considering its age. The remains of the seagrass roots are disintegrating as we handle them, but they still show signs of cyanobacteria like lymbia. Our dive details are as follows: 17.5 meters depth, 134 photographs taken, and excellent working conditions with weak currents heading south and visibility up to 15 meters. The patch measures 3 meters wide by 8 meters long, and we observed it in November during our monitoring efforts.
