The Regal building burst onto the scene in 1911 as the Highams Park Electric Theatre, before finally shutting its doors as a cinema in 1971. Under redeveloped circumstances, the original Art Deco cinema building is being meticulously restored and converted into a brand new restaurant, thirty stylish residential apartments, and an ultra-exclusive two-screen 'arthouse' cinema complex.
