The Recalibrator - Caliburn Mod
thingiverse
Update: Revision 2 with Carbine magwell. I'm planning to leave this platform soon due to the disadvantages of the Recalibrator being quite apparent. Caliburn: Best performance out of K26 and other easier-prime springs. Talon Claw v4: The upcoming V4 will still be compatible with Longshot springs, and is in a great tight form factor. With a supposed 4.2" draw, I should be able to build one that works with full length mags, if needed. Vixen: Looks like a good option, but it's not as refined as the Caliburn. I've been experimenting with different spring combinations and setups to achieve higher FPS. Step not available for Ra-stl_Grip5t.stl and Ra-stl_RAIL_TOP-SHADWELL-MONO.STL. The step file for Grip5t was outdated, so I went by a polygon edit. I did the same for the top rail piece for the shadwell/monolithic version. a_DartJamA.stl is only needed if you're using my experimental NAKM - Not A Katana Mag. (A project which I will fix and update once I get this Caliburn setup how I like it.) Minor Fixes Todo: - Adjust ram tip design to be less constricting on airflow, and O-ring profile for more reliable seal. - Adjust the sear to fix catching issues caused by the default sear profile. Wishlist for Revision 2: - Extend ram base, add 2nd screw into priming bars for more durability. Reduce stock kiri to compensate. (Overall reducing draw by perhaps another inch or so.) - Reduce the draw further. Would prefer 3.5" draw for superstock/HvZ usage; might use a 14" barrel for this. This will require adjusting the grip and perhaps sear. - Shorten the pump handle, and the entire front for that matter. - Test with more spring and spring combinations - 788 + K31 for superstock, K14/etc. for NIC since a K26 (and probably K25) won't cut it for 250 FPS.
