The Real Ghostbusters Kenner Ecto 1 Wheel Upgrade

This is an upgraded wheel for the Kenner Ecto-1. Using references from the original Ecto-1, I made these wheels as screen accurate as possible, while adjusting the size for the Kenner version. I used a variety of sources for the details. Used the Eagle Moss Ecto-1 and the Coker Tire website for references to get the tread and white wall placement right, also included a small ridge in the model showing where the white wall should be. I took some creative liberty and replaced the Firestone logo with an Ecto 1 logo based on the license plate font to fit the theme of the toy vehicle. The hubcap reference came from the Eagle Moss Ecto-1 model and the MikeLaneMods hubcap upgrade. The hubcap was pretty difficult, as the reflective surface makes it hard to accurately observe the shape, but I'm happy with the result. Obviously these will require a resin printer to get the kind of detail needed. I included the hubcap separately to make the painting process easier. This wheel matches the measurements of the original wheels at 49mm diameter and 21mm thick. There's a hole in the back of the wheel for the existing 1.5 mm axle, however the original tires have to be destroyed to get them off, I couldn't find a way to disassemble them. This has been a labor of love for one of my favorite childhood toys, from one of my favorite cartoons.
