Look no more!

This is THE Extruder Visualizer, since it replicate the Bondtech gears and its actual movements (sort of).

Click here to see it in action!

This visualizer is more oriented to Original Prusa i3, but it should fit any Nema17 stepper.

Print instructions:
Just print it as it is.
The only trick I recommend is to set the extruder width to 0.4mm (default is 0.45), this is just to ease the inner wall printing.

I printed mine in PETG and PLA and they seems to work both just fine.

There are two version: the main one is for the stock extruder.

But if you got some extruder mod like the Delta-P fan duct V2-R2 or similar, you'll need the MOD version.

Assembly instructions (it's longer to read than to actually do it):

Insert the shaft on the hollow gear

Put a drop of super glue in the circular groove of the main body

Insert the shaft + gear in the groove, let it set.

Glue a magnet to the “full” gear (I used a 8x3mm neodinium magnet), let it set.

Once the glue is set, ensure the idle gear can spin freely.

Hook the main body+idle gear to the extruder motor as seen in the picture

place the gear with the magnet in the stepper motor hole

Done!

Enjoy the exact visualization of the actual extruder movement!

The gears original model can be found here

Edit 13/05/22: Added .f3d and .step file
