I remember you I remember The joy that sprang up like the dawn Flying gait you came out from the mist And disappeared from view in the morning. Yuri Antonov I recall the initial impression of the piece taken in hand, printed on an FDM printer - it was unexpectedly light. Although I worked with it, determined the thickness of the walls and degree of filling myself, saw the calculated weight - my senses indicated this object is not from our usual world, it's something out of this world. The desire to convey the feeling of this lightness, even weightlessness, through language inspired the idea behind the presented work. Late spring, early summer arrived, with a rainbow stretching across the sky like a shining bridge. A girl in spring attire barely touched the ground as she walked along the edge of a stream and believed life is beautiful. In the creation of this figure, printing an umbrella with a dome 0.72 mm thick (two perimeters when printing with a 0.3 mm nozzle) posed a challenge and achievement. However, we always want to push further and see what's possible? For example, can an umbrella dome be one perimeter (0.36 mm) thick? I changed the model and began printing again. On the third attempt, it worked! What can your printer do? Here are umbrella models with a dome thickness of 0.72 mm and 0.36 mm - try the challenge - #I_Printed_Umbrella.
