The Quieter Cooler (NEW)
thingiverse
The Mele quieter 2 and 3 mini pc can get hot in normal use. This can shorten the life of the electrical components and cause thermal throttling, (slowing down) the pc when under high load. It’s a fan-less silent pc. (Let’s keep it that way!) .But it does have a metal heat sink on the bottom that sits on your desk trapping the heat in. The solution. Create just enough space under the PC to allow the heat to create a natural air flow. No fixings needed, clips on or off. All ports, switches are accessible. Strong and stable and looks good. It works! Top tips - Remove the labels from the top surface of the mini PC as they are heat traps. They were only left on in the photos, to show case the Mele mini PC. Sliced in Cura. Reworked to print better in PLA. Walls, 4 walls. PLA Print Temperature at 208 C Supports. (Touching build plate only). Type - Zig-Zag at 4%, 1 wall line. Infill. 20% The clean-up. For best fit, make sure there are no lumps or bumps on the inside of the top corner posts, and be careful not to damage the top retaining lugs during this proses. Really pleased with the way this turned out. I hope you will be to.
