The qInch Project : Arm Joint

Main Project Page - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:668017 I created a pretty cool tablet arm mount, actually two of them, and I really wanted to replicate many of the joints in it for my qInch project. The whole rig I put together works all right, but I need to model a pretty good nob to tighten the bolts by hand. I used a wrench and some metal washers to make tightening the joints tighter. I also needed thin metal washers inside the joints to help keep them tightened. I used 6-inch bolts to make the arm longer, it's more unstable, and all the weight means you have to extra tighten each joint every time. It is more stable with 3-inch bolts. But experiment with it, try different sizes. FreeCAD source included.
