The Pumpkin Gree
thingiverse
Here's my Halloween effort! I'm not very good at making Pumpkin pie, but I can make Pumpkin monsters. I've even made up a silly story to go along with it: A tiny trickster sprite is known to visit human worlds on Halloween nights. They notice that they strongly resemble decorations favored during this time of year, so a Pumpkin prankster happily makes its home in well-tended gardens without being noticed amongst the seasonal paraphernalia. Unfortunately, any trick-or-treaters who visit a house with a resident Pumpkin trickster soon discover that the joke is on them because these creatures have a great appetite for all sweet things and very little guilt about how they get them. Children who claim that their treats were stolen by a small growling pumpkin are quickly labelled by their parents as LIARS and GREEDY. The Pumpkin prankster finds this hilarious indeed. Of course, should a child "accidentally" drop some candy nearby, the Pumpkin trickster lets them pass. They may be little troublemakers but they do enjoy intelligent kids. The Pumpkin trickster was sculpted using Blender software. Instructions This model works well as a Jack-O-Lantern or as a bowl for Halloween candies - depending on how you choose to scale it. The current scale should easily fit most LED tea lights (no real flames of course), but be sure to check the measurements first. I tried to make him a true pumpkin monster with pumpkin-like features rather than use a human face. His base is flat and he prints without supports. I made the stem separate from the lid so you have the option to use a different color for it. The stem will need to be glued in place if you want it to stay there. Use a glue that's suitable for the printing material.
