The Protector, a .32 Centrefire Extra Short firearm by Minn.Firearms Co., was produced approximately around 1890 by J Duckworth in Springfield, Massachusetts. The model was designed using Autodesk Inventor 2013 and exported as an .stl mesh file. This was then converted to .obj format in MeshLab. The 3D model assembly took place in DAZ Studio and rendering was accomplished using LuxRender via pret-a-3D Reality with Image Based Lighting from a 360x180 degree HDR image.
