The Programmable Jitter Vase (for Rhino)
thingiverse
Initially, I merely desired a stylish pen stand for my desk. However, this simple project escalated into an intricate, customizable object with over 30 parameters. A lengthy and uninteresting video showcasing the final product can be found at http://youtu.be/ugZdAbnT-js. To recreate this unique design, you will need Rhino and Grasshopper software. Start by loading the JitterVase_Vxy.gh file in Grasshopper and experiment with various settings. Be mindful of a few cleanup tasks in Rhino after generating geometries, which are explained within the file. As a result, eight random models (including my innovative desktop pen holder, Vase Two) can be downloaded in STL format for your enjoyment.
With this file you will be able to print The Programmable Jitter Vase (for Rhino) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on The Programmable Jitter Vase (for Rhino).
