WORK IN PROGRESS - Game-Res The professor settled back into his chair, placing his open book face down on his lap as he closed his eyes for a moment. He adored spending time in the library to read, ponder, or simply sit and listen to the soothing rustle of pages turning, a soft conversation, the occasional apologetic throat clearing. He consistently chose this specific chair, earning such strong associations that no one else at the university felt comfortable sitting there. When he finally steps down from his academic role and leaves the university for good, he will occasionally return just to sit in the chair. After he is gone from this world, the chair will remain a lasting tribute – forever vacant, as none would dare to occupy the space where the professor once sat.
