"Elwynn The First-Born", also nicknamed "Axehead", is a sentient magical axe brought to life centuries ago by a renowned sorcerer known for his unorthodox ways. Empowered by a potent offensive enchantment, which shifts depending on the type of magical gem inserted into its slot, Elwynn was a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield...until it was eventually eclipsed by enchanted firearms and donated to a museum. Now, he spends day and night yearning for the thrill of the fight, his powerful magic itching to unleash itself once more as it recalls the days when it burned, froze, and zapped its wielder's foes with ease. Trapped behind glass, Elwynn is limited to interacting with the museum staff and occasional curious visitors, a prisoner of its own inactivity.
