For the curious potential black smith just wanting to try things out using clay. or for the experienced smith who has a small human that wants to apprentice or just follow along without the dangers of working with hot metals.. Blacksmith training equipment INTRODUCING the Plastic blacksmith. the zip file contains: a basic anvil 3 types of tongs. ( bolt jaw, wolf jaw, box jaw) 3 Hammers (standard, cross peen, flattening hammer) additions will be coming to the basic file. all files printed with pla. colors are user preference. printed with 0.28 layers in orientations they are downloaded in. hammer handles can be printed standing upright to not need support. HOWEVER i print mine laying flat with chunky layer lines to give that wood grain look.. supports are needed in the flat orientation. tong rivets benefit from supports but it depends on the capabilities of the printer as there are some overhangs. The Plastic Blacksmith equipment is intended to be used with cooled plasticine modeling clay as a working medium to simulate working with heated metals. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE WITH HEATED METALS!!! The Plastic Blacksmith is intended to utilized either by mature persons or under close observation of a mature responsible person.
