Who enjoys toppling dominoes? Absolutely!!!!!!\n\nWho likes arranging dominoes for a thrilling tumble? Yuck!!!!!!\n\nWho appreciates pink and green colors? Well, let's just say granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, nephews, and others come to mind...\n\nIf you're like our family (we love knocking over dominoes, but can't stand setting up dominoes for a tumble), then "The Pink and Green Domino Dispenser" may be the perfect solution for you too! Our kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and other family members enjoy this little pink and green domino-dispensing machine, and we hope you and yours do as well!\n\n"The Pink and Green Domino Dispenser" is a "domino" dispenser. While it doesn't dispense commercial dominoes (well it will, but not with much success since the tolerances for commercial dominoes are not quite standardized), it does dispense the 3D-printed dominoes in this design on almost any smooth, flat surface with 1-inch leading edge to leading edge spacing. If you have a steady hand and good aim, adding dominoes to the rack while "The Pink and Green Domino Dispenser" is in motion will keep it dispensing dominoes until you run out of 3D-printed dominoes, encounter an obstacle, or the batteries drain! It sometimes misses its target, so it requires patience at times and close attention to the off switch. However, with practice, you'll find yourself building very long strings of dominoes with ease.\n\nAfter seeing Mathias Wandel's "Lego domino row-building machine" (https://woodgears.ca/domino/index.html, he's an excellent woodworker; check out his site), I decided to design, 3D print, and assemble my own version so that I would be much less likely to forget how to reassemble it if I dropped it or if the youngsters got their hands on it (20 or so printed pieces as opposed to hundreds)! If you're a Lego enthusiast, then by all means build his design as it is very impressive! But if you're a 3D printing enthusiast, then perhaps this device is for you!\n\nVideo of prototype here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K12tqdOb0f0.\n\nVideo of prototype without "Canopy.stl", "Rack.stl", and "Domino.stl" which better illustrates the mechanism is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT916TMgEgs.\n\nDesigned using Sketchup Make 2016 and printed on an Ultimaker 2 Extended.
