There's something profoundly natural and refined about this end-cap, yet more strikingly, it simply feels amazingly perfect in your hand, as if it were custom-crafted to cradle your fingers. It is an unadulterated joy to use, to twist on or off seamlessly. Its understated contours are pleasing to the eye, too. We're accustomed to straightforward planar curves in everyday life, but this is a sophisticated 3D curve that we rarely encounter in real-world objects—those are notoriously difficult to manufacture using conventional means. Which makes this an exemplary piece of a part ideally suited for 3D printing. It boasts a threaded center-hole and is designed to cap onto a 2" ID cylinder with precision fit. Perhaps few individuals have that specific requirement, but the design on this part is so human-centered and pleasing that it should serve as a model of exceptional design.
