The Penmaker's Friend
thingiverse
A convenient chuck that makes it easy to bore out the center of your blanks by utilizing a standard 3-inch faceplate with a drill chuck attached to the tailstock. The STL included is one of four required, identical jaws.\nNo more aligning things in the vise for the drill press! Simply take your 3/4" blank and insert or tighten it down into the jaws and turn away.\nJaws have two relief bands for pipe clamps, but I haven't seen a need for them yet, as this process usually runs on the slowest setting on the lathe. Use your brain when putting something like this on a lathe! Keep those RPMs low.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: Prusa\nPrinter: Prusa Clone\nRafts: No\nSupports: Yes\nPost-Printing\nTake 4 M5 bolts, nuts and optional washers, and tighten three of the four jaws to the faceplate. Insert the blank and tighten the last one down.\nYou're ready to drill!\nHow I Designed This\n123D Design.\nSaw a similar product at my local woodworker's shop and decided to make my own based on a similar design.
