A solar oven is designed to harness solar energy by capturing radiation within a parabolic trough shape and reflecting it onto a black metal tube housing three regular baking trays. The simplified wooden version streamlines manufacturing while durability depends on the chosen wood for the jig. This innovative concept was created by Ivan Yaholnitzky from SolarSoft, Lesotho. With this setup, normal baking time is approximately 2 hours for three loaves of bread or cake, requiring tracking every 15 minutes.
