Equipped with a door handle grabber (DG) and an inner Volume of roughly 15ml to store disinfectant it is a handy tool for everyday use during a pandemic. With the seal and a soft region to create the necessary pressure, for the disinfectant to come out, as well as the movable door grabber this design demonstrates functional integration in one print. Ideation:The DG is inspired by “Festo’s adaptive robot gripper”. The rest of the design should showcase 3Dprinting capabilities by using multiple colors and materials to create a functional seal for disinfectant. To ensure proper adhesion between the soft components and the clear Main-body the rim surface was modified and small structural elements where introduced at the lid socked. Print and Post-Processing: To save print time and support material the Paddle should lay flat. To ensure functionality the DG should be folded out and the screw lid should be printed separately. As post-process it is recommended to remove soluble support structure with a solution bath accordingly. To make sure the Seal is working properly please pears the seal with a needle.
