The Othercam: a simple Chromebook/Laptop camera flip

The most annoying part about using a Chromebook or laptop is trying to capture a picture or photo with it. I created this small device to make it easier for kids to film each other or take pictures of their work. I always keep one on my desk that they borrow and use. Kids simply place the "Othercam" on top of their laptop with the mirror facing the camera, tilt their screen to get their subject in frame, then record a video or take a picture. This build requires a small (3 x 7.5 cm) mirror. I used an inexpensive plastic mirror from the dollar store and cut it up to make a few extras to pass out to teachers in our school.
