The Other Guys is a 2010 American action comedy film directed by Adam McKay and written by Chris Henchy, Adam McKay, and Etan Cohen. It stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as two mismatched police officers who team up to solve a case. The movie follows Detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell), a desk-bound detective who is teamed up with Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg), a hot-headed officer.
