Competing with various mobile phone stands in Thingiverse, the objective was to develop a single unit that could accommodate all phones. Despite owning a large Galaxy 2 Note, the design was made to be adjustable for different sizes. By version 3, it was decided that the stand should not only hold one phone but two large ones or three medium devices. This versatile rack can be placed in various rooms and serves as an ideal storage unit for mobile phones and other small items upon return home. It also accommodates tablets like Google Nexus 7. The stand is easy to print with no supports or rafts needed, using the Phone_Rack_180mm_5.stl file. A second file with 3D text is experimental and requires fine (0.1mm layer height) settings for printing, which increases print time. The design works well with PLA material on a Makerbot Rep2 but should also be compatible with ABS. Infill, shells, layer height, temperature, extrude speed, and travel speed are specific to the user's printer.
