This 3D model originates from a digital sketch crafted with Sketchup 13, subsequently adapted into every other applicable 3D format. Natively, it exists in the .skp file type, while 3ds Max scenes are compatible with version 2016, and renderings are generated using Vray 3.00 software. Most recognize this structure as "The Old Music Library," recently reincarnated as a dining establishment – an ironic twist for Brighton's vibrant culture! Interestingly, the building's original smart dark-grey finish now better highlights the city's dolphin icon above its entrance. Originally constructed in the 1920s as a showroom for the local municipal gas company, where coal-gas was still produced and distributed locally at the time, this iconic building has had multiple purposes. Notably, during the complex museum renovation that cost around £10M to complete, it temporarily housed the Local History Centre. This marked one of the few times in its history when the structure wasn't engaged in some form of public service.
