The Old City, Jerusalem 1:200
myminifactory
A bold new path unfolds from the Bauhaus design I've been crafting in Tel Aviv. Starting with a model based on Jerusalem's ancient city, which I had the privilege of visiting during a JNF educators tour in January 2018. My goal is to recreate the entire old city at a scale of 1:200. To achieve this, I'm combining photographs from the site with extensive research - scouring the internet and pouring over books like "The Holy Land" by David Roberts. This project begins with small modular components that I'm continually adding to.
