The Octopus Fluid Cell

The Octopus Fluid Cell

thingiverse

This is a two component liquid cell designed for opto-electro-chemical experiments. A 1x1 inch squared glass slide fits on the top and bottom sections and can be held apart by a film of polyimide/kapton. Indium tin oxide-coated glass slides allow the cell to both be transparent and deliver voltages to the fluid cell. The plates being held at a 45 degree angle allows alligator clips to make contact to both. Polyimide film can be laser cut. Stereolithography (here formlabs Form 2 using grey resin) is best. Full details available in our publication: http://doi.org/10.1039/d1sm01650d ITO-coated glass slides: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/product/aldrich/703192 Kapton for spacer available from McMaster
