After a long expedition in the south,Thrax and Ghost were finally returning to the Frostlands.Having mastered his druid training,Thrax was now more powerful than ever before.Not only he was very strong in his human form and using his claw gauntlets as an extension of his arms but now he was a very powerful druid with the Owlbear being his favorite form.A ferocious dire wolf,Ghost was his loyal companion,having raised him since he was a cub after saving him from an owlbear,they share a strong connection.While passing through a huge dark forest they come across a clearing where it seemed that all the trees were cut off and whitered,they decide to set camp for the night having so much wood available to cook a juicy venison steak.The first thing they noticed were small tremors from the ground around midnight "We are not alone here..."In the blink of an eye the earth cracked and quaked as a giant insect with big mantis like claws rose from the ground beside them.Thrax transformed into an owlbear while ghost was looking for weak spots but the insect had a very strong shell.Their claws were not enough to pierce the insects armor but Thrax noticed that the underbelly was the weakest so he lured the insect into a very sharp tree trunk impaling it."Now this makes for great trophy to take home!"
