FOR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO ON ASSEMBLY AND USE: https://centers.njit.edu/addlab/node/74/ The NJIT Swab is an open source design aimed at addressing the COVID19-related shortage of testing swabs. It utilizes small cuts of rayon/Dacron sheets, which are far more accessible than machine-spooled swabs. Clinical trials are underway to determine effective sterilization methods and human use. Meanwhile, the maker community is invited to download, print, and enhance the design. The NJIT Swab is a patent-pending product developed by NJIT's ADD Lab. Our website, along with an instructional video for the swab, can be found here: https://centers.njit.edu/addlab/home/ Link to the type of sheets required for swab head assembly: https://www.amazon.com/Medline-Avant-Non-Woven-Non-Sterile-Sponges/dp/B00CSO8FSU/ref=sr_1_5?crid=30FXFGSWCMVFT&dchild=1&qid=1589005157&s=gateway&sprefix=non+woven+gauze%2Caps%2C148
