Left to right: Surya, the radiant Sun, rides majestically atop a chariot drawn by two powerful horses. Beside him stands Candra, the glowing Moon, perched elegantly on a pedestal of gleaming stone. Yama, fierce Judge of the dead and guardian of the South, rides proudly upon the back of a mighty buffalo. Varuna, god of the Waters and sentinel of the West, sits regally on the majestic Hamza. Indra, king of the Gods and protector of the East, thunders forward on the back of a massive elephant. Kubera, lord of the Rich and guardian of the North, gallops triumphantly atop a proud horse. Agni, fiery God of Fire and guardian of the South East, blazes across the sky on the back of a swift Aries. Rahu, dark Demon of the Eclipse, swirls menacingly in a vortex of swirling clouds. And Ketu, mysterious Comet, roars valiantly on the back of a fearsome lion.
