Human: Prusa .gcode and .step files available @ https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/28175 The ultimate towel solution that caters to people's varying levels of hygiene needs. This project was initiated as a way to promote healthy habits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Use Cases (Personality Types) Impatient User: Are you someone who doesn't bother with hand drying etiquette and just dries your hands on whatever is available? No problem! The basket made from the original towel is designed to handle your rough handling. Socialist User: Do you prefer cooking or want to minimize the risk of contamination on a shared towel? Take the convenience of getting your personal towel effortlessly handed over to you. Simply pick your preferred towel, rotate it, and release it without touching the 3D printed parts. This way, you won't spread bacteria and viruses to others, and vice versa. Need to store the towel after use? We've got that covered! Just place it in the basket made from your original towel. Cleaner: We've also thought about the heroes who do laundry for these reusable personal towels. You can easily remove the whole towel bag by pulling it up by the clip and toss it into the washing machine without touching any used towels. (Remember to use water- and heat-proof materials like PET printed clips inside the washing machine.) Towels: Designed for towels with dimensions around 3030cm (11.811.8"). You can also cut existing towels to 30*30cm. OR, ask your family members to knit custom towels! Back Story: I wanted to design something that promotes hygiene in daily activities. We brainstormed about the most unhygienic things we touch every day and found the shared towel commonly found in kitchens, toilets, and small offices to be a top concern. Sometimes we use it for purposes other than drying hands, and let's face it – when was the last time you changed the towel? We've created a solution for this issue. To cater to those who don't understand its function yet or prefer not to care, we kept some of the original recognizable shape, location, and function.
