Hello! This is my very first design, no remixes here! I hope you like it. First off, to make this box, you'll need 8 magnets (10mm x 2mm). I bought 52 of these for 9€ on Amazon, and I think that's a great price. You can use them for many projects too. You might also want 2 rubber bands, but they're not necessary. When you print and build this box, you'll figure out how to solve it. But if you're new to this sort of thing, start by figuring out that the round pieces on the sides are detachable from the box. Then find the same symbol at the top of the panel and use it to guide you through the maze to the matching symbol. Once you've done that, you can open the box - or so I'm told in my attached video. All the parts of this box print easily, and I designed them with minimal supports needed. The assembly process is also pretty straightforward and fun. The two pieces that use up the most filament are the box and the maze. So, here are some tips to help you save filament: set your wall thickness to 0.8mm (2 lines), use 2 top layers, 2 bottom layers, and an infill density of 10%. With these settings, I saved almost 200g of filament - that's a 30% savings! When printing the box.stl file, be sure there are no supports inside the hinges. That could cause problems. The rubber bands serve as a sort of "safety catch" to unlock the box when you flip it over. But they're not required. If you do use them, make sure your magnets are strong enough to lift the locks attached to the rubber band.
