The Musica
grabcad
Jennifer Renne from Landstown High School's Governor's STEM & Technology Academy discusses an innovative solution for piano players. While digital music resources are increasingly available, many pianists still prefer physical sheet music books. Traditional page-turning assistants can be cumbersome and wasteful, so she invented the Musica. The Musica uses linear motion translation to turn pages effortlessly. It's designed in two parts, hinged together for easy use on any piano. The stylish black and white design complements pianos and is perfect for young musicians. The Musica doesn't require batteries, saving money over time. Additionally, it can be made into DIY kits to teach others about motion translation mechanisms. This unique combination of musical and engineering skills offers a practical solution with future potential.
