The sculpture 'The Muse Started to Come to Me' is part of Muzeon Park of arts founded in 1992, originally conceived as an art park thanks to the neighborhood surrounding the Tretyakov Gallery and Central House of Artists, as well as cultural and architectural monuments from the XVII-XX centuries. In the nineties and early years, the park became a favorite walking spot for Muscovites due to its convenient location and well-maintained grounds. Over 700 sculptures are part of Museon's collection, many of which are exceptional Soviet-era monuments, such as the Mukhina monument or Shadr's work honoring Maxim Gorky, or a fragment of Vychetch's sculpture 'Stand to the Death'.
