My design offers a straightforward solution to a common challenge faced by visually impaired individuals when making cash purchases. For sighted people, paying with cash is effortless because they can easily read the bill's value. However, this simple task becomes much more difficult for those who are blind due to their inability to see the bill's amount. Blind individuals want to maintain their independence and avoid relying on others to inform them of the bill's value. Many also prefer not to trust strangers who could potentially deceive them by providing false information about the bill's worth. To address this issue, I have developed a set of stamps that can be operated with ease by both blind and sighted individuals alike. These stamps enable users to create a Braille marking on the bill that is easily readable and does not damage the bill in any way. The stamp's wide opening makes it simple for blind people to insert bills, while its smooth design ensures that it will not snag in pockets or catch on other fabrics. I have also designed these stamps to be convenient to carry by adding a keychain ring hole and making them smaller than a standard USB flash drive. This allows users to bring them almost anywhere, including through airport security checkpoints. Due to their compact size and lightweight material, these devices can be easily stored in a pocket or purse. To achieve optimal printing quality, simply set your printer to its finest layer height setting. The subtle curves on the device require no support material during printing. These gadgets are incredibly useful for blind individuals, enabling them to lead more independent lives with reduced stress and anxiety.
