The Beehive Project's new version, dubbed 0.2, is nearly ready for release. It features Makerslide as support material - an aluminum V rail integrated into a standard extrusion profile. A potential installation includes two 4'-7' lengths of MakerSlide set 2' apart in the ground. This design facilitates a ratcheting system for easy cleaning and harvesting. Meet the Hivestack, an innovative beehive design with integrated floor plates, increased full-size frame capacity, and angled entrance holes to deter rain and protect against predators. The Hivestack 0.2 design was made in Tinkercad and can be edited online. The .stl files are available for download at https://tinkercad.com/things/1ZluQmZ6ORE.
