The Mirelurk King

There's no connection between Mirelurk Kings and regular Mirelurks in an evolutionary sense, but I pictured his kind evolving to dominate their less intelligent peers through a series of adaptations. To emphasize this vision, I added a hard-shelled crown, modeled after the Dunkleosteus, as well as long, flowing red robes, reminiscent of ancient western kings. My design aimed for a regal posture, with Mirelurk King walking upright and proudly, much like the Fallout 3 variety. Unfortunately, the animator chose a more amphibious approach. I'm glad you think he turned out great!
