Mimics are cunning predators that transform into harmless or even alluring disguises to entice their unsuspecting prey within reach. In the epic Ultima series, mimics consistently masquerade as treasure chests, a ruse they have employed since the earliest days of Ultima I. This devious tactic has been consistently deployed throughout Ultima IV, V, VI and IX, where these shape-shifters can be found lurking in dungeons across the land.
