The Micro Zip (MK.2)
thingiverse
This is my latest creation, a micro quadcopter that's a significant upgrade from its predecessor. It boasts a fresh frame design, an improved camera mount, and a dedicated FC holder. The new camera mount has been specifically crafted to accommodate the crazypony fpv mini camera. I've opted for standoffs measuring 3 by 12mm, bottom bolts of 3 by 10mm, and top bolts that are a slender 3 by 6mm. Update: After putting this design through its paces, I'm thrilled to report that it has proven to be extremely resilient. Not once have I managed to damage the camera lens despite subjecting it to several rough landings on concrete. To enhance the durability of the dipole antenna, I highly recommend adding a small dab of hot glue around its base to ease tension on the coax. Overall, I'm absolutely enamored with this creation! Additionally, incorporating a tiny zip-tie around the camera lens helps minimize "jello" in the video footage.
