It's likely overdue that TMO gets a revitalizing of its logo, and I've picked up a heap of new skills, so why not give it a shot, right? A few hours' fiddling around, some insight into design composition, complex object modeling intersection, and good old-fashioned hard work yielded these two stunners. Drawing inspiration from the original logo design, we still incorporate beams of searchlights, but now stylized as 3D lozenges or simple background elements. Radios are gone because they're no longer a purely audio pursuit. And the root logo is ready to be used anywhere that a square design with an alpha channel will fit.
