<p>I wanted a way to store my models for transit that didn't rely on magnets or take up space like foam did - and also just looked and felt cool enough to be remodeled into a mech hanger or storage bay as a display. This is the weekend worth of solution I came up with.</p><p>Tolerances are still a little tight so I'm happy to take on any notes.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>If you want one yourself, you'll need two springs per Pincher.</strong></p><p>1 x &nbsp;<a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FDTK98V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1">5mm OD,0.5mm Wire Size,5.5mm Compressed Length,10mm Free Length</a><br>1 x &nbsp;<a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08FDX2CZL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1">5mm OD,0.5mm Wire Size,11mm Compressed Length,20mm Free Length</a></p><p>It's still a little finicky getting the doors on, and they'll want for a drop of superglue to hold them in place.&nbsp;<br><br>Best printed in PETG at 25% infil or more as the button and pincher parts have fairly thin parts. I printed the button + pincher with a minimum of 3 perimeters.</p>
