This concept introduces a dual-function engine design, capable of accelerating during ascent and converting into an electrical regenerator upon reaching maximum altitude. By harnessing the inevitable descent momentum, energy can be generated through electric braking, much like electric vehicles, thereby reducing fuel consumption. Even if the engines are solely turbines, they could capture additional energy from airflow, leveraging the drone's natural weightlessness to optimize power generation. As the mass begins its ascent, protective covers can retract, allowing wind to turn the turbines and produce electrical energy, which is then redirected back to the other engines as needed for optimal performance.
