"The Matrix" Head Jack
thingiverse
A few versions of the head jack from The Matrix; I designed this in OnShape based on stills from the movie. I printed mine in blue PLA/PLH from MatterHackers, then sanded it down and coated it with Antique Silver Rub'n'Buff, adding black acrylic paint to the crevices for a dirty look. If you have time, I'd recommend using silver filament instead and starting with that. These props were used in our April Fool's 2019 joke at Hackster.io: https://blog.hackster.io/introducing-the-hackjack-with-neosound-a-revolutionary-cyborg-device-by-hackster-io-d6dc73936547 The files are available here: • head-jack.stl – The original version, but flat so you can stick it to your head with double-sided tape. This was surprisingly convincing! (I stuck it onto my short hair, 1/8"-1/4") • head-jack-full.stl – The original version, with a hypothetical "barrel jack" behind it so it looks like the entire implant. • HackJack-flat.stl – Updated wearable version, with the Hackster logo in the center ("a new, bladed connector for higher surface area and more bandwidth").
